We had a very busy week at the end of July, with our 25-year-old kitchen being ripped out, ready to be replaced with a nice shiny new one and new flooring, thanks to a successful grant from the Community Levelling Up Programme. Preparations are also under way to install new flooring in the large top room (which currently has outdated wood flooring) and the porch area, again with success from the CLUP.
Organisation is in full swing for a free community celebration highlighting ClayTAWC’s 25th birthday and the purchase of the centre building from the current landlords.
We were delighted to find out that we were successful with a grant from Cornish Lithium, via Cornwall Community Foundation, to contribute towards the production costs of the St Dennis Community News Magazine.
